Mission Possible - For Always

It's that time again!!! I have one more set of Mission Possible kits from the current Idea Book for you to pre-order in July and put together in August. The new Close To My Heart Idea Book hits the streets on August 1st. Things will be different.

I'm so excited to show you what came together when I started cutting up the For Always paper pack. Of course there are three cards ($5) in one kit and two layouts ($10) in the other. Black and White always looks so cool BUT I was only able to go colorless on one of the items!! (and I'm not exactly sorry about it - lol) This is a VERY flexible paper collection which will be available until at least the end of the year.

Mission Possible Cards ... 3 cards ... $5
Are you ready?? Here are the cards. I had a little photography fun and took things out to where the flowers are. When you pre-order the card kit all of the supplies you need to make all three of these cards are in your kit for $5. There's no limit to the number of kits you can pre-order. Did you notice how often I'm saying pre-order?? That's because I need to know how much paper to order to be able to make the right amount of kits. There's a process that takes a few weeks. So I ask you to let me know and send your payment by Saturday, July 27th. Thank you for your pre-order.

Mission Possible Scrapbook ... 2 layouts ... $10

Let's see what the layouts look like. When you pre-order these (by July 27th) you get everything you see here to make these two layouts except the bling flourishes. To add the swirly bling it will be an extra $6. That's a pack of these --> Sparkle Flourishes.  There are 6 flourishes in the pack for you to place anywhere you like.

It might not look like it but this layout accommodates 4x6 photos without any trimming. To see a similar version with photos on it click HERE.

To read all about the details of this layout click HERE to see an earlier blog post.
There you have it. In case you weren't paying attention before these kits are available to pre-order starting NOW until July 27th. All you have to do is contact me by phone (651) 484-4613 or send me an email to shellynemitz@gmail.com. I'll give you the information you need to send me your payment. Your kits will be ready on August 16th. If you live in my area you can come to my house for assembly. If that doesn't work you can have these kits delivered in the way that best suits you.

Mojo Monday 301

It's hard to say exactly why, but I've only used the Mojo Monday sketch once before (check it out --> HERE). It could be because Monday is my laundry day. It could be that a bajillion people make amazing things with the sketch. They intimidate me!! It could be a long list of reasons. (BUT I think I nailed it with that intimidation thing!!)

This week I have placed myself in a bit of a pickle (or a jam depending on what you're hungry for) so I'm getting inspired everywhere I can. It's amazing what a sketch can do to get you going when you need a push!! Here's the sketch thanks to Mojo Monday. AND below is my loose interpretation. I actually didn't study the sketch very well (ooooooops). In any case it inspired me and I really like the end result.

For my sparkle loving friends I stepped out into the glaring sun light to take a photo so that you can see the glimmer trim in action!! Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

180 at OWH

It's a great day to do an Operation Write Home card sketch. This morning I determined that I would make the newest sketch no matter what!! Thankfully the designers over there never disappoint. Every time I determine to give the sketch a try the result is great. Here you go ...

And here's the sketch. There are a few changes on my part but overall I stuck with the idea. Thank you Stars and Stamps!! To see what others have done with the same sketch click here --> #180

M - Mr. & Mrs.

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter M. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as her M element will be featured in her post.
If you came from Linda at Scrappy Therapy then you're on the right track!

Thank You for visiting my blog today. It looks like we're at the half way point in the ABC Blog Hop. I hope you've seen A-L!! It's been so fun to see what everyone chooses to represent each letter. I love a little something with guidelines BUT not strict rules!! I have had a lot of M ideas and here's where I landed ... "Mr. & Mrs.".  Isn't this title cut from the Cricut Artiste cartridge adorable?

The Mission Possible kit for August is just a few days away from being revealed. For Always is the last paper pack I'll be working with from the existing Close To My Heart Idea Book. BECAUSE ... drum roll please ... on August 1st a brand new Fall/Winter Idea Book hits the streets. It would be an understatement to say that I'm over the top excited!!! To say more would take me down a long rabbit trail.
So, back to the Mr. & Mrs. ...
The paper here is mostly card stock. The mat for the photo is made with the For Always paper. This paper is so beautifully elegant that I had to do a little something wedding. It's simple. They say less is more and sometimes I agree. I thought there would be clusters of everything on this page when I was dreaming it up in my mind. But photos should always be the highlight of any scrapbook layout. AND I wanted to keep things flexible for those who will be creating this layout with me in August.

Here's the whole layout. Even though there's a single photo page, the other half leaves lots of room for additional photos of various shapes and sizes. Remember guidelines and not too many rules!!! Here's what it looks like all together.

I plan to put photos of my darling husband and I over the years on the right hand page. The strip across the bottom says "Everyone says you only fall in love once, but that's not true, because every time I see you, I fall in love all over again." All together now, awwwwwwwwwwwwe. What a fun way to celebrate your marriage relationship!

It's tough to capture the beauty of glitter and bling in a photograph. Here's my attempt at showing you that glimmer trim and sparkles are the anchor to the right hand page. It's so much better in real life. Once I add the photos there will probably be sparkles all over the page.

Do you love this as much as I do? Come back next week to see the Mission Possible scrapbook layout kit I'm in the process of making. There will be two layouts in the kit. The other one will have a pop of color. I'm thinking PINK!!
