Mission Possible - Layouts

It's official. Here are the two layouts for the next Mission Possible workshop on May 10th. I've been scolded for not having these photos up by the 10th and for that I truly apologize. Due to snow in April (what???) the days seemed shorter with shoveling.

Next month we're using the Later Sk8r paper pack. The paper has a beat up boyish feel to it so we're not going to worry about making every little detail straight and perfect. There's room for LOTS of photos on this layout while we still get a peek at each of the papers in the pack. AND there's washi tape, woot!! woot!! You can easily use this layout for almost anything ... so don't be shy if you have girls. Just leave some of the words off and you're good to go.

YES ... this layout was still in the page protector when I took the photo. It's a tiny bit distorted by that, but you can definitely get the overall feel for things. The background is splashed with white ink using the spray pen.

OK ... and speaking of girls. Later Sk8r had a little meeting with the Claire paper pack and ... well, I think they like each other. For whatever reason, this paper was just begging for a little pink.

Again ... the details. When you come to make this layout you can use as many tags as you like to make a title that says whatever works for you. If you'd like to use a name OR "BFF" it all works. Since we're using letter stamps you can say anything you like.

Mission Possible - Later Sk8r Cards

It's that time again. Here I am to show you the cards for the Mission Possible in May. If you have graduations, you're going to want to make these. BUT truthfully these cards are quite flexible for any occasion. I would use them for birthdays or just general encouragement. It's amazing the tricks that the Later Sk8r paper pack can do.

This is all you get for now ... nice and simple. Come back on the 10th when all of the details will be up and running. The scrapbook layouts will be here and the assembly date will be posted ... along with prices. I can't wait to make these with you. You're going to love the "puddle pad" technique used for the hot air balloons. It's a whole lot of colorful fun!!

OWH Sketch #164

Today I had to shovel snow. Did I make a cup of hot chocolate when I came in? NOPE ... I beelined it to my scraps of paper and made this card. Lately I've missed a few Operations Write Home sketch challenges. The sketches are always awesome but my timing just doesn't work out. After a girl shovels snow she doesn't care about her responsibilities so much. She just wants to do something fun and happy. TA!! DA!! 

Since the paper has a distressed look I used the swiping technique on my stamp.
