Sangria Rose Blossoms Blog Hop

Welcome to the mid-month Rose Blossoms Blog Hop. We're featuring the Sangria Paper Packet and it's lovely coordinating embellishments. You may have started at From My Bungalow with the lovely Lynn or you're just jumping in with my blog. In either case, keep going by clicking the link at the bottom of this post. You're sure to get an eyeful and enjoy what you see.

Guess what I have to show you ... YEP, a layout. These blog hops are great opportunities to scrapbook and I take advantage of it. I'm drowning in photos!!

I love to explore what a paper pack can do in addition to the obvious things. I have some great Fall layouts with this paper BUT how about a little breakfast? That dotted champagne colored paper is such a great background for all kinds of things. It lets all kinds of other elements take center stage.

I'm still madly in love with my new Artistry Cricut Collection. I used it to cut the coffee cup and the donuts. That little heart in the coffee holder inspired me to get busy with the Enamel and Glitter Duo Purple Hearts.  Some might think I even got carried away but they're just soooooooo adorable that who wouldn't want a donut sprinkled with all sorts of colors and patterns? Yummy!!!

The Thick Twine comes in seven colors now. It's a terrific way to add interest and even function to a layout. This stuff is so affordable that for sure you need to have every color. If I didn't have them all how would I ever know to use Poppy and Thistle together. On the coffee cup I tied both colors together and unravelled the ends. That's such a fun way to use this twine. For my journaling spot the twine is actually functionally, grounding the oval cut from Artfully Sent to the page. AND how about a sweet little bow placed here and there. It's really an easy way to add a little "look at me" space. I wanted that in case anyone misses this hilarious photo of my hubby.

Now you're off to see what Cathy has in store at These Eager Hands. I have a guess about what it might be and I sure hope I'm right. Enjoy the rest of your hop!!

  7. What an awesome layout. It's a great example that CTMH does papers in a way that can be theme-y but also be so versatile. Love those donuts!
