K - Kraft

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter K. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their K element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy. If you came from Linda Norman at Scrappy Therapy then you're on the right track!

In case they didn't cover it in your junior high art class ... Kraft is a color. If Kraft was at a party it would be called a social butterfly. If Kraft went to kindergarten it would see "plays well with others" on its report card. If Kraft was running for political office its ad campaign would include people of every age & color.

Kraft goes with nearly everything!!!!! I made this adorable little gift card holder to demonstrate Kraft's flexibility. Kraft hangs out with everyone without making a lot of noise. Everyone needs a friend like that.

Here's how it works ... In this case I'm filling each of these with coffee gift cards.
There are actually two different Cricut cuts involved in making this. The patterned piece was cut using Art Philosophy. If you have the cartridge it's the card on page 58. The base (cut from Kraft) is from Artiste page 55. It looks like this before you fold ...
All you need is a little adhesive along the outside edges. If you put adhesive over the whole center you won't be able to slide in your gift card. Don't ask me how I know. Inside it looks like this ...

SO ..... if you're trying to decide what "matches" your project, it's probably Kraft. If you're a real color nerd you can actually read about it right here --> Wikipedia.
