Color Dare #27

Who has time to make a card on a Monday ... right? I sure don't, but sometimes things don't go according to plan. That's especially true when you're easily distracted. I popped on line this afternoon to find a recipe, which lead me to Pinterest, where I wandered off course and looked at cards. I made this card from a pin that's 26 weeks old. For some reason it took half a year to catch my eye again!! I think I was intimidated, but now that I've tackled this I could make these in my sleep. (that was a joke)

This pattern works great with the colors from this weeks Color Dare. It's all about green ... my very favorite color ever. The even better part is that I got to dig into my scraps. Those things don't get nearly enough attention.

You should check out what everyone else is making from Sweet Leaf, Topiary and New England Ivy by popping into Color My Heart. It's always fun to see what other people are creating.

  1. Love your card, Shelley! I made a couple of these cards recently but I used paper that was already striped as in Florentine--I'm sure that it took you longer to do but with such an awesome result. Thanks for playing along with us at Color My Heart Color Dare and for inviting others to do the same!
