This is my first ever blog hop. I plan to participate in the whole alphabet. That means Activity on this blog and that makes me Absolutely happy.
My first entry is VERY literal!!! It doesn't really take much explaining. If I wanted to be clever I could've saved this card for D ... Distressed. BUT instead I'm entering it as Amazing. Plus I use the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut out that big A. The "You're Amazing" stamp comes right along with the cartridge.
The "how to" for this card is ... have at it!!! To distress the A I used pearl paint mixed with chocolate re-inker and swiped it on with a paint brush. After it dried I took out my sanding block and got busy around all of the edges. Then it looked kind of blah so I gently dragged it across a Ruby ink pad. The last thing I did was to used my paint splatter stamp (from Diverse Backgrounds ... D1508) and touched the letter here and there. I also considered running the A over with my mini van. But that seemed to take things a little too far! The paper from this card is from the Scholastic paper pack.
The Aim for this card was to come up with something masculine. What man/boy wouldn't like something that looks a little messy. I picked up my glitter glue AND shiny gold marker more than once to bling this up. BUT ... that's not the point.
On January 10th I'll be posting the February Mission Possible kit. A card similar to this will be in it.

It's the prefect masculine card. The distressing is perfect.
