Taste of Summer Rose Blossoms Blog Hop

Welcome to another great Rose Blossoms Blog Hop. Today we're featuring the Taste of Summer products that are available ONLY in May. After you get an eyeful and lots of creative ideas you're going to want to get your hands on this paper pack and stamp set before it's too late. All you have to do is click HERE to place your order. I put the link right up front so you can find it.

If you've already been hopping you just came from Marg's blog. It was inspiring, wasn't it? If you just started here make sure to click on the link at the bottom of this post to see what all of the other Rose Blossoms have put together with these products. You will LOVE their work.

I'm confident that you will see a lot of great stamping and adorableness as you go from blog to blog. I decided to explore the back sides of these beautiful papers and apply them to a theme that you might not expect ... teenagers & prom. Here's a snap of the whole layout but to get a better appreciation check out the closer looks below.

It's prom season. Tomorrow my daughter goes to her senior prom. The pictures on this layout are from the junior prom. It's a quirky thing, but I really don't like it when an event comes up a year later and I haven't dealt with the photos from the same event last year. SO ... Taste of Summer to the rescue. Don't you think the bright colors are perfect with the gorgeous dresses? At first glance you might not see glamor when you look at these papers. But add some glitter paper, sparkles and flourishes and Taste of Summer plays very nicely with the shiny things.

I can't decide which set of embellishments were the most fun to make.

First there's the sparkly sash to mimic my daughter's dress ...

But then there's the paper wrist corsage ...

If I wasn't in the midst of the end of the end (this is my last high school graduate) I'd be creating with this fantastic paper pack every single day.

Products used ... Taste of Summer Paper, Silver Glitter PaperBlack Sparkles Flourishes, Clear Sparkles, Black Sparkles, & My Crush In the Pink Letters. I also used both the Artbooking and Artiste Cricut Collections to cut the flowers & leaves.

Thank you for looking at my blog today. To keep the circle of blogs going hop over to Kimberly Hill's Violets and Sunshine for a happy surprise.
