JUST SAYIN' - May 2015 Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Stamp Of The Month Rose Blossoms Blog Hop! I can't wait to see what my Rose Blossom sisters have made for you with the Just Sayin' Stamp of the Month. There are a LOT of stamps in this set (14), which makes it full of possibilities. You may have stopped here after seeing the wonderfulness on Barbara's blog. OR you're starting here for the first time. Either way please keep hopping by clicking on the link at the end of this blog.

I usually like to see how many different stamps in a set I can fit into one layout. Today I'm taking a different approach. I started with just a few photos and cardstock. This layout is 99.9% cardstock and ink. I looooooooooooooooove patterned paper. Did you hear that? I love it. For some crazy reason I didn't use any ... none. They say "less is more" so I decided to see if they're right.

Here's where you can get a closer look at some of the stamps. I used the circles that were cut from the overlay to stamp on. I used the circle stamp AND the square from this set to get the two different patterns. Sometimes it's possible to fit a square peg in a round hole. This also give you a good look at the other .10% of items used on this layout, the Red Enamel Hearts.

I just can't seem to leave blank space alone. So I stamped "full of goodness" into the space on the left. Uh Oh ... unbalanced!! So I flipped the exact same stamp over on the block and stamped the back side of it on the right side. Uh Oh ... boring. So I added "that happened" right over the top. Now it's balanced and I look like a creative stamper. Don't you love how that works? Sometimes fixing a mistake or two makes you look like a genius!!

Thank you for stopping at my blog today. Keep enjoying  the fun as you hop over to Kim Hill's Blog. She's sure to have a real treat for you. I can't wait to see it myself.
