CHOOSE HAPPY - March 2015 Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossoms Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop. This time around we are using the Choose Happy stamp set. There are 14 images and as always, endless options! If you've come from Barbara's inspiring blog then you're on the right track. If you're just getting started click the link at the end of this post to see what Morgan has created with this set and then just keep going.

Do these stamps beckon you to make something for Spring or something girly? That's the first thing I see for sure. The Blushed Paper Packet and these stamps are bound to be best friends.

BUT I have this box of photos ... OK I have four boxes of photos. They need to find their way into my scrapbooks. It's either that or buy another box to keep photos in.  I have to keep scrapbooking something ... anything. It was a great surprise to pull some Fall photos and some Pathfinding Paper

Here's the layout I made for you.  Enjoy!

Here are a few close ups. Hopefully you recognize the ovals. Yes I stamped them and then colored them with Twin Touch markers AND fussy cut them by hand. It was SOOOO worth it, don't you think? I love to make fantastic titles when I take the time for it. In this case I'm in love with the result. That alphabet is Handwritten Print. I stamped it two times in a row so the second letter looks like a shadow. How about that Topiary Chevron Ribbon? I love green so I was happy to add a little.  This ribbon is perfect added here and there on this layout.
You can see a couple of the stamps at work here. Those little frames are perfect for the photos that are just a little too far away but still cute. I usually just pitch pictures like this, but I love what happened here.

A whole bunch of fun borders!!
At the right is a great picture to show you a variety of stamps. Did you know that you can bend acrylic stamps to any shape to fit your project. I did that here to make a little vine for the Junebug Puffy stickers. This is the same stamp that made the straight Topiary border above. It makes the perfect little addition for this space. Sometimes it's just the little things that you do with a layout that make it yours. When I was adding this element I was thinking, "I wonder if this is right".  Do you know what? It's YOUR layout when you create. So, whatever you do to it is right!!! There are no scrapbooking police or actual rules. Please enjoy the process like I did here. You'll probably make something really cute!!!

Of course we make a whole layout to go together but I have a favorite page ... this one ...

I actually changed my title after cutting and coloring so I had an extra oval ... after all that work I wasn't going to toss it aside. It makes the perfect little journaling box and it left me room to be inspired to bend my stamp.

These Stamp of the Month sets are always only $5 with a $50 purchase. I've seen people pass them up when they purchase $50 but I think they're a little crazy. Even if you don't see a need in the moment it's amazing what these $5 stamps can do. Next Fall you're going to want to make this!!

Thank You for visiting my blog today.

Hop over to see what Morgan has for you at TweetSCRAPS. I have every confidence that it will be something great!
