How exciting is this Blog Hop??? If you came from Kim Hill's Blog you've already seen something awesome from the brand new Annual Inspirations Idea Book. Close To My Heart has truly hit one out of the park yet again. I encourage you to keep on hopping after you've seen what I've made until you get back to where you started. This hop is a circle so you can just go from blog to blog.
It's nearly impossible to know where to start with a catalog that's nearly 200 pages long. We're going to need a whole year to shop our way through this book. I've decided to start with the newest My Crush Books, in addition to some of the accessories that coordinate with it. YES ... you can rip the paper right out of the book!! It opens up a whole new set of fantastic options.
Here are links to the products used on just one card so you can see them each close up ... In The Pink My Crush Book, In The Pink Assortment, Sticky Tabs, Silver Sequins, Puffy Heart, Slate Ribbon, the Thankful Heart stamp set & a ShinHan Twin Touch Bronze marker.
Just in case you thought you could only use the papers in this book for cards or girly things I made this scrapbook page too. This week my son officially kicked off his adult life. He will start his career several states away from our family. This photo happened moments before he drove off with all of his possessions. How will it be? That remains to be seen on a personal level, but I have no doubt that the world will be more fabulous everywhere he goes. Thank you My Crush Book for expressing my heart oh so well.
Do you love the background paper?? I do, it's called Paper Fundamentals in a brand new color, Glacier. Just a little sponging through a stencil and you have patterned hearts. This page uses all of the same products listed above other than the background paper.
Of course I will be writing letters to Daniel too so I made a card with some of the items that were left laying on the table. YES ... these items are all new too. In addition to everything I've shown you I've used the Lagoon Hearts Washi Tape and one of those adorable In The Pink Clips.
There's more but it's really time for you to hop on. Here's a sneak peek if you want to come back a different day and see another fun layout I made.
Thank you for stopping.
Now it's time to take a look at what Crystal made over at Wild Bluebonnets.
