Timberrrrrrrrrr ... line

We are running out of time with the current Close To My Heart Idea Book. EVERY paper pack in the book is retiring at the end of July. The whole book is actually on a "while supplies last" basis now. This is the last kit I'll be creating with paper in the current book. Love these colors.

I'm excited to offer these two layouts pre-cut and ready for you to assemble. There are two ways to order. You can purchase just the layouts with most everything you see here except for the tiny wooden shapes you see dispersed throughout. 

The two layouts are $15.  

For $25 you get EVERYTHING on these two layouts (that means the wooden shapes and soooooo many more than what you see). AND you get the scraps that are left after the pieces are cut.

Check out this trick these two layouts can do ... discovered by accident. You can swap the two pages and they still look great. Isn't that fun? (ok, maybe I'm easily entertained)

Just Make Something

Sometimes creative juices just won't flow. Nothing looks right together and a girl gets downright stuck. There are a LOT of solutions to that problem. BUT the best answer I know overall is that when I'm stuck I just have to make something ... anything. 

I love how "old" CTMH things stay fresh. AND it's even fun to combine products from the past with things that are current. There are so many papers that haven't gotten to mix it up with our outstanding Cricut cartridges just because the timing was off.

So today ... I made this. I'm excited to get some Summer photos on it. 

AND another thing I'm excited about is that while I was cutting everything up I quadruplicated my efforts. I cut everything times four. For the first time (and definitely not the last) I'm going to be able to add a layout to the Al A Carte section of the Pretty Pieces Café. Three people are going to be able to add this to their scrapbooks!!

Color Dare #91

Ariana ... that's the name of this paper pack and she's being featured over at the Color Dare. Of course I'm playing along because I LOVE her. This is the first paper pack that I cut into from the current Idea Book. I love all of the different colors of paper and today I get to use them all. What a beauty?

Do you like the design of this card? I really think it shows off the paper. AND it's the cover design on the Originals pattern book by Jeanett Lynton. These books are inspiring beyond description. I'm constantly going there for all kinds of great ideas.

Did you ever hold a toddler on your lap with one of those books where you peek under the little flap? Well, here's a great BIG scrapbooking flap that you can do the same thing with. The best part is that when you peek inside it will be filled with photos of something wonderful from your life.
